PREMIERE: Knola – “Fragile Feeling”

Premiere: Knola – “Fragile Feeling”

“Fragile Feeling”, the debut single from Knola, whose members played in short-lived but well-loved post-hardcore bands like Midwest Pen Pals, Merchant Ships, William Bonney, and North Folk, is the kind of song that takes emo’s artfully tangled aesthetic and shapes it into something elliptical and impressionistic. Spacious and breezy, the song makes room for Jack Senff’s laconic vocal, moving from early tuneful verses to a cerebral, slow-phase bridge that becomes the real highlight of “Fragile Feeling”. Stream the song below, and pre-order Knola’s Skeletal Lightning-released debut EP The Black Beach, here.
